Jacqueline Allen worked as a wellness counselor at the Dye Clay Family YMCA in Orange Park.
She taught various classes and kept herself in top physical condition, said Nikos Westmoreland, director of communications for the YMCA of Florida First Coast.
"A lot of women looked up to her because of her training," he said. "She was a great teacher and a lot of her students were very sad."
Allen was friends with Inmaculada Pierce, who also worked at the same YMCA branch.
