After roughly 85 hours of freedom, the two inmates who escaped from the Putnam County jail Wednesday morning, stole a car from a nearby relative who was later found slain, and made it as far north as Kentucky were arrested roughly 20 miles south of the jailhouse Saturday evening, and now face far more serious offenses than the armed robbery they were originally charged with.
