The signatures of golfers Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen rest in the registers of the St. Augustine Golf Club in the collections of the St. Augustine Historical Society. Ron Uselman, a project manager for the PGA Tour in Ponte Vedra Beach, was delighted last week when he did research in the Society's Research Library to find information about the St. Augustine Open tournaments. He noted the signatures of golf greats and members of the World Golf Hall of Fame. This weekend, the PGA Championship, held at Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minn., will add to golf's history.
