A manatee, her calf and orphan calf she adopted are carried in slings into the St. Johns River to be released from a boat ramp in East Palatka on Wednesday. The animals where being cared for in a rehabilitation facility at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo and were released in the river with help from a marine mammal rescue team from the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.Read entire article: Manatees released into St. Johns
